Cleaning Methods for Aroma Diffuser

Nowadays, Aroma Diffuser have become essential items in people's daily lives and are also a supporting product for some high-end hotel homestays.

People basically use ultrasonic aroma diffuser, which are aroma diffuser with water added. During the dry season of autumn and winter, as well as in air-conditioned spaces in summer, the aromatherapy machine decomposes Essential Oils into nanoscale cold mist with a diameter of 0.1-5 microns through ultrasonic vibration and emits it into the surrounding air. In addition to humidification, the odor relaxes nerves, helps sleep, and can also purify the air.

Why suggest using Aromatherapy Essential Oils indoors?

Survey data shows that hospitals often disinfect, but there are about 10000 viruses per square meter. In households without disinfection habits and maintaining clean and hygienic habits, the number of viruses can reach up to 20000. In the forest, there are only 5 viruses per square meter, which is precisely because the forest is filled with Essential Oil aromatic molecules from plants. So, daily incense, using the power of plants to purify the environment, is beneficial for both body and mind.

When we use an aromatherapy machine, have we ever considered the question: does the aromatherapy machine need to be cleaned? Some people may say that essential oils have bactericidal effects, so aroma diffuser will not have the problem of bacterial growth.

And the fact is:

With the use of aroma diffuser, most essential oils will enter the air, while a small portion will remain in the instrument. Over time, combined with a humid environment, the remaining essential oils will become viscous due to oxidation, especially some citrus and resin essential oils that undergo more pronounced oxidation reactions. After oxidation, essential oils become a source of nutrients for bacteria. In addition, blocking the mist outlet can affect the normal use of the aromatherapy machine.

We do not recommend using chemical cleaning agents. Share some natural, simple, and practical cleaning methods here.
