Mammary gland hyperplasia is a breast disease caused by the incomplete mammary gland lobule structure caused by the incomplete mammary gland hyperplasia. It usually occurs in middle-aged and young women aged 30 to 40. The clinical manifestations are breast tenderness and breast lumps. Most patients are accompanied by There are different degrees of depression, anxiety and other symptoms. With the increasing social pressure nowadays, the incidence of breast hyperplasia is also increasing year by year, there is a tendency to be younger, and it is a high-risk factor for the incidence of breast cancer, so the treatment of breast hyperplasia is urgent. Mammary gland hyperplasia is called breast addiction in Chinese medicine. The etiology and pathogenesis are mostly caused by stagnation of liver qi, imbalance of Chong and Ren, and poor circulation of qi and blood in the meridians, resulting in sputum, stasis, and dampness. Mostly.

At present, there are many clinical treatment methods for breast hyperplasia, such as combined traditional Chinese and western medicine, physical therapy, and acupuncture, but the curative effects are different, and some patients have difficulty accepting adverse reactions such as gastrointestinal discomfort caused by long-term medication. In the previous clinical work, the author found that the application of aromatherapy through meridian massage can improve the symptoms of breast hyperplasia, such as breast tenderness and anxiety, and achieved good results. Now aromatherapy is used to treat liver-qi stagnation-type breast hyperplasia. The report is as follows.

Efficacy criteria

According to the curative effect standards established by the Second Breast Disease Academic Conference of the National Society of Chinese Medical Surgery. Cure: Breast lumps and pain disappear completely. Significant effect: the largest breast lumps have been reduced by >50% in diameter, and breast pain has disappeared. Effective: The maximum diameter of the largest breast mass is reduced by less than 50%, or the mass becomes soft and the pain is reduced. Ineffective: the breast mass remains unchanged or enlarged, and the pain remains unchanged or worsened.

Comparison of pain VAS scores before and after treatment in the two groups

See Table 2. Before treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in pain VAS scores between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the pain VAS scores of the two groups were lower than before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); after treatment, the pain VAS scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).

Comparison of the size of breast lumps before and after treatment in the two groups

See Table 3. Before treatment, there was no statistically significant difference in the size of breast lumps between the two groups (P>0.05). After treatment, the breast masses in the two groups were smaller than before treatment, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); after treatment, the breast masses in the observation group were smaller than the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05).

After treatment, the HAMA and HAMD scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05); after treatment, the HAMA and HAMD scores of the observation group were lower than those of the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P <0.05)

Comparison of clinical efficacy between 2 groups

See Table 6. Comparing the composition ratio of clinical efficacy between the two groups, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05); the total effective rate was 90.7% in the observation group and 69.8% in the control group. The total effective rate was compared between the two groups, and the difference was statistically significant. (P<0.05).

Adverse reactions

There were no obvious adverse reactions in the two groups of patients.

Clinical conclusion

Mammary gland hyperplasia is one of the most common breast diseases, the incidence is the first among breast diseases, and it is the most common benign breast disease. At present, the pathogenesis of hyperplasia of mammary glands is not completely clear clinically. At present, it is generally believed that the pathogenesis of this disease is due to the dysfunction of the body's gonadal axis, which causes breast lobule hyperplasia and incomplete involution, leading to structural disorders of the breast. The key to inducing this disease is the imbalance of the ratio of estrogen and progesterone in the body. With the increasing social pressure, the incidence of the disease has increased year by year, and at the same time it has become younger. Chinese medicine believes that breast hyperplasia belongs to the category of breast addiction. There are multiple meridians in the breast. Only when the blood and qi in these meridians are smooth, the breast can be better nourished. When the blood and qi in the veins are not running smoothly, it is easy to form phlegm and blood stasis. "Experiences in the Department of Ulcers" once said, "There is tuberculosis in the breast, which is shaped like a pill egg, no pain, no cold and heat, and the skin color is unchanged. Its nucleus changes with happiness and anger. This is called breast addiction." It points out breast hyperplasia and emotion. Zhi relationship. Wang Qingren's "Medical Forest Correction" pointed out that "Qi is invisible and cannot be agglomerated. If agglomerates, there must be tangible blood." This shows that if the liver qi is stagnant, the qi cannot flow, and the blood stasis is blocked in the breast collaterals, breast addiction can also occur. Modern medical clinics have also continuously confirmed that hyperplasia of mammary glands is a social-psychological-endocrine disease, and this type of patients has different degrees of depression, anxiety and other emotions. Obviously, alleviating the poor mental state of patients can significantly improve the therapeutic effect of breast hyperplasia.

Aromatherapy is mainly to extract traditional Chinese medicines with aromatic scent into appropriate dosage forms, which can be absorbed through the skin, oral cavity or nasal cavity to achieve a natural therapy for preventing and curing diseases. It has been widely used in diseases such as pain, depression, sleep disorders, and anxiety. Aromatherapy can play a corresponding role according to the four qi, five flavors, and meridian characteristics of the selected traditional Chinese medicine. In addition, it can also balance the yin and yang according to the characteristics of the disease onset by selecting the extraction location and volatility of the aromatic essential oil, and assist the meridian system According to the ideological theory of syndrome differentiation and treatment, three factors, and the principle of "individualized" treatment advocated by modern medicine, the blood circulation of the patient chooses appropriate dosage forms, formulas, and operating methods to provide patients with more effective treatment. Aromatic essential oils can promote the secretion of endorphin and serum, anti-spasm and relieve pain, and improve bad mood.

In this study, bergamot, rose, and peppermint essential oils were used to massage breasts and the liver meridian of the foot to treat breast hyperplasia. Bergamot tastes pungent, bitter, sour, and warm in nature. It returns to the liver, spleen, stomach, and lung meridian. It has the functions of soothing the liver, regulating qi, relieving stomach pain, and eliminating dampness and phlegm. Roses are sweet, slightly bitter, warm in nature, return to the liver and spleen meridians, and have the effects of promoting qi and relieving depression, easing blood, and relieving pain. Peppermint tastes pungent and cool, and returns to the lungs and liver meridian. It has the functions of soothing the liver and relieving depression, dispersing wind and heat, clearing the boss, relieving the pharynx and rash. The combination of the three drugs can strengthen the effects of soothing liver and relieving depression, promoting blood circulation and relieving pain. In addition, the massage itself can also dredge the meridians, regulate the circulation of qi and blood, and speed up the metabolism. Through the combination of bergamot, rose, and peppermint essential oils combined with the meridian massage technique, the essential oil molecules penetrate into the body through the meridians, acupoints, and skin to unblock the blood vessels and disperse. It has the functions of reducing blood stasis, regulating menstruation and relieving pain. At the same time, during the massage process, the aroma of essential oil molecules can be inhaled through the nasal mucosa to further eliminate lumps, improve pain, and relieve anxiety and depression.

The results of this study show that the two treatment methods in the observation group and the control group can effectively alleviate the pain symptoms, reduce the masses, and improve the anxiety and depression of the patients, but the observation group is better than the control group. In terms of symptoms associated with traditional Chinese medicine, the two treatment methods can improve to a certain extent. At the same time, the observation group is better than the control group (P<0.05) in the improvement of the two items of upset mouth pain and easy depression, joy and anger (P<0.05), suggesting bergamot The medicinal properties of rose, mint and permeated into the body through meridian massage play a role in soothing the liver, regulating qi, and unblocking qi and blood, thereby effectively improving the emotional state of the patient. The total effective rate of clinical curative effect in the observation group and the control group was 90.7% and 69.8%, respectively. The observation group was significantly higher than the control group. The results of the study showed that Rupixiao Granules have the effects of promoting blood circulation, removing blood stasis, and softening and resolving stasis, although it is to a certain extent It can relieve symptoms, but combined with aromatherapy, its effect is significantly better than the single use of Rupixiao granules. It can be seen that the application of aromatherapy through massage along the meridian can synergistically enhance the efficacy of Rupixiao Granules in treating liver-qi stagnation-type breast hyperplasia.
